September Beauty Box | Glossybox

Glossybox is pretty well-known amongst the subscription box brands, it's got to be up there with the
most popular, so I was really suprised when they got in contact about their September Box*! I'd seen some of their previous boxes and knew how high quality their products were, so had fairly high hopes for what was going to be inside this one.

They work with some very well known and lust-worthy brands, and include 5 of their must-have products in each months box, all packaged and presented to an excellent standard. The iconic pink boxes look just as good in person as they do in photos, adding a stylish and feminine touch to your package.

Firstly, the firming facial oil from Monu Skin. I only recently tried this brand in a different subscription box last month, so I was actually really happy to see this. I've been getting into facial oils a lot recently so I'm glad this was specifically for facial use and not just a general body oil. I'm already loving this product so much after just a couple of weeks, my skin feels noticeably softer the next morning after use and I can now tell a difference when I don't use it. It has a really subtle and calming scent to it which makes it feel very spa-like. I'm very much enjoying this brand!

The product I was most suprised about seeing in the box was the Pixi Brow Tamer. I hear so much about Pixi and I hadn't had the chance to try anything from them yet so this was my first. I've also never used brow gels of any kind (bad blogger I know) so this was something totally new for me. After using it for a couple of weeks I can now see why people love and use them so much. This definitely makes your brows look more 'finished' after filling them in, making them more sleek and natural-looking. I just fear for my routine now as I can see myself needing a brow gel all the time after this!

There was also a silicone blender included in the box which again was a new tool to me. I had always been intrigued by these but was also a bit skeptical about trying one, so it's a great thing to get in a beauty box. This performed just as I expected, it evenly distributed product around the face and definitely required less of it, but it just didn't blend to my standards. I particularly struggled around the nose area and I did have to go over with a beauty blender so that it wasnt patchy. Saying this, I do like how it distributed foundation so I might give it another go for that.

And finally we have a full-sized natural whitening toothpaste from the brand Taylor's 32 and a Skinfix hand repair cream. I've been using both daily and again are great products to include in a beauty box. The toothpaste isn't overly minty as it's made with natural ingredients so I'm enjoying it, although no results as of yet! And the hand cream is insanely nourishing on dry hands, and I use it everyday now. I even use it on my boyfriends hands as they get really dry at work and he approves.

As I've never tried Glossybox before I can't compare to previous boxes, but I was so impressed with this months. I love how every product is so different, ranging from beauty tools, skin care and even dental care. A couple of brands I'd already heard of; Pixi Beauty and Monu Skin but the rest were new to me. As fun as it is trying new brands, it's always good to see something familiar too! Overall a good mixture of products to try out and I'm really impressed with Glossybox. I forgot to mention there was also a Kinder Bueno inside which lasted a whole day.
Priced at just £10 a month this is a bargain of a subscription box! I was definitely thinking it was more in the £20-30 range.

Have you tried Glossybox before?
