NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette - Warm Neutrals | First impressions

Just look at how beautiful this palette is. I honestly haven't stopped looking at it since I got it last week! This is one of the latest must-haves from NYX which is just in time for Autumn.
The Warm Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette has an impressive 16 shades which includes 9 matte and 7 shimmery satin finishes, ranging from pale highlighting shades, to burgundies, coppers and fiery reds. The palette is very aesthetically pleasing, especially for any warm shadow lovers and is just perfect for this time of year.

I'm not usually a fan of warm-toned eyeshadows on myself (which can be annoying with all the beautiful palettes launching recently) I just find they don't work on me that well, but these shades however, have just the right balance between warm and cool. There are a few cooler shades in the palette, as well as a few more intense reds, but the shades as a whole work really well together.

The palette is said to be a good dupe for the Urban Decay Heat palette. There are some similar shades but I can't imagine that the quality is on parr. Not to say that these aren't decent, but you do pay for what you get. I have experienced some fallout with these, the lighter matte ones in particular. I was originally going to include swatches in this post but these shades just wouldn't pick up on my skin so I decided against it. The deeper shades are definitely more pigmented than the lighter ones, and the shimmer shades come off really beautiful and foil-like on the lid with the help of a damp brush.

I do wish there were names to each shade so I could share my favourite looks to create, but every single shade works well with any other in the palette. My personal favourites are the peachy and copper shades, but I'm definitely going to try and get use of the red ones this Autumn. I'm so impressed with the range of shades as a whole, as I said they are very versatile and have just the right balance between matte and shimmer finishes.
This is definitely a palette to look out for this season. You can shop it here

Is this on your wish list this Autumn?
