Pretty Products without the Price Tag

Pretty products and packaging have got to be the best selling of the bunch. Afterall, it's going to be the appearance that first catches your eye, not the sturdy packaging. I myself am a bit of a sucker for giving products solely for their rose gold or pink packaging, which can sometimes be bad, but in the case of these products I've found some real gems:

Ted Baker Beauty
My favourite drugstore packaging when it comes to beauty products is of course from Ted Baker. Although the packaging changes for each range and season, it's always cute and girly, with at least a hint of pink. They include quite a bit of rose gold on their packaging which is dreamy and also have a men's range (which my boyfriend is a big fan of). I have a few lotions from sets and I love their body sprays! They really make the perfect gifts.

Kiko Cream Crush Eyeshadow | £6.90
Cream eyeshadows are really pretty on the lids, especially those with a shimmery, metallic finish. This is my ultimate glitter shade (05 Pearly Silver Rose) which looks amazing on the lid and also on the inner corner of the eyes for a dramatic pop. It has a finish you just can't achieve with powder shadows which I really love. The formula of these have been compared to the likes of Mac's and Charlotte Tilbury's cream shadows.

Makeup Revolution have become a little famous for their pretty and affordable highlighters as of late. They have a broad range from cream sticks, to palettes, to singular baked shades. The Vivid Baked range have really pretty designs, and lovely shimmery, pearlescent shades and finishes. You can find them in Superdrug stores for just £3, as well as directly from their website, TAM Beauty.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick | £6.49
These have to be my favourite pretty product at the minute, I just love the metallic pink packaging. Available as part of the 15 year anniversary range which includes amazing 6 shades, you can choose from 3 nude shades or 3 deeper red tones. They are really good quality, have a creamy finish and a must have for anyone's makeup bag!

New Look Matte Lipstick | £3.99
Another beautiful rose gold design but at an even more affordable cost are these lipsticks from New Look. They look so sleek and even come in a matching metallic box! I was really surprised when I noticed these and just had to pick one up, how could you not? The shades available range from nude pink tones to deep browns and reds, and they also have a 3 for 2 offer across their beauty range.

Milani Rose Powder Blush | £12
This has to be the ultimate pretty product around at the minute, the design is really pretty, and so are the shades. Everyone seems to be lusting after these beautiful blushes lately. Milani as a whole is a really affordable brand and available to the UK on sites such as BeautyBay and CocktailCosmetics. I picked up mine for £12 from BeautyBay, but if you ever find yourself overseas and find a Milani store, you can get yourself one for just $9 (about £7!)

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick | £6.99
I only remembered I had one of these after reading Abigail's (Blush & Noise) post on some new beauty buys. They're really simple but stylish, with such pretty shades and a tinted coloured lid. Each range of shades (reds, purples etc) has a colour appropriate lid which is handy! This is 'Fairly There' from the Blushed Nudes range. I must get some more of these and try the matte finishes.

Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar 2 Palette | £6
This is one of my favourite pretty products from Makeup Revolution. This includes 2 bronzer shades, 5 glittery shades that can be used for a combination of bronzing and highlighting, and 1 shade with more of a matte finish which is perfect to use as a blush. Their other blush and highlight palettes are also just as sparkly and girly, filled with a shimmering selection of shades.

So...? Body Mist Sprays* | £3.99
Some really affordable fragrance options are these new, girly body mists from So Fragrance. With a wide variety of light and pretty scents from Vanilla Milkshake to Rose Petals, there's got to be one suited to you. Each has a cute and colourful design which makes them look perfect propped on your dressing table. They are now available at both Superdrug and Boots' stores.
